LED Screen Guidance

Firstly thank you for using LEDFUL LED screen. Here are important tips to guide you how to operate LED screen normatively to avoid unnecessary damage.

LED screen is similar with traditional electronic products. In order to keep the longest lifetime, not only we need use it in right way, but also we need pay more attention use LED display skillfully. Therefore, LEDFUL recommend clients to operate LED screen according to the following instructions.

A) Keep proper humidity is important for LED screen

a) Do not get wet in the rain for indoor screen.

b) Do not store screen in high humidity environment.

c) For rental series screen, keep dry and clean inside flight case, placing some desiccants inside flight case, and change the desiccants regularly.

d) If screen not used for a long time (over two weeks), dry it with blower before using. And don’t run max brightness for the first trial.

B) Power system must be stable

a) Use power protection if local power supply is not stable

b) Ground protection for display and structure is necessary.

c) Stop using LED display in very bad weather is recommended, such as lightning.

C) It is forbidden to get conductive material in display, like water and iron chips

a) Keep display in low-dust environment, too much dust influences display circuit and performance.

b) Do not play in white balance background for a long time (> 1hr) to avoid excessive current that can speed up LED attenuation and shorten its lifespan.

D) LED display ON/OFF and PC ON/OFF

a) Run PC and control system firstly then turn on display.

b) Turn off display before PC shut down.

c) Do not turn on display when it is on white balance background situation to avoid high start current that can damage PCB, LED, and control cards.

E) LED display using in different seasons

a) In dry season (<60%RH), it is suggested that run LED display once a week at least, and running time is more than 2 hrs, also off time is more than 6 hrs per day.

b) In rainy season (>80%RH), it is suggested that run LED display once everyday, adjust display brightness to be 60%, and play video above 3hrs, the best running time is between 7am to 10am.

c) In normal season (60%-80%), it is suggested that run LED display once a week at least, adjust display brightness to be 60% for playing video around 5hrs, the best running time is between 7am to 10am and 6pm to 10pm.

F) LED display daily cleaning

a) Timely clean dust on display with soft cloth dipping with alcohol or by vacuum cleaner.

b) Do not wipe LED lamp directly by water.

G) Display installation and dismantle must be guided by professional engineers.

H) Regularly checking LED display inside components and circuits.

I) Cut display power before maintenance. All maintenance and service jobs must be handled by professional engineers.
