LED rental screen is a kind of simple fast installation and dismantling, good appearance, small volume, light and thin screen. Screen Installation Site

We have both indoor and outdoor led display used for rental event, if screen is only used for indoor, you can buy an indoor screen, if used for both indoor and outdoor, you can buy an outdoor screen.

Screen Pixel Pitch

Indoor: P1.5 P1.95 P2.5 P2.6 P2.9 P3.9

For outdoor rental screen, viewing distance between screen and viewer is about 5-6m; for indoor rental screen, the closest viewing distance between screen and viewer is about 4-5m, most of customer choose P3.9 for outdoor and P2.6 for indoor. Studio like XR solution, fine pixel pitch P1.95- P2.6 is a good choice.

Screen Size

We have both 500x500mm and 500x1000mm cabinet optional, 500x1000mm big panel is cost-effective option and save you more time and energy on installation; 500x500mm small panel is good for multiple screen size,such as 1.5m , 2.5m, and 3.5m, ect. Varying sizes, more options. 500x500mm is more expensive than 500x1000mm panel, because 500x500mm panel need more materials such as power supply, receiving card, quick lock and so on in one square meter.

Screen Cost

(1) Usually the same type of product, the smaller the pitch, the higher the price, because at the same unit area, the number of small-pitch lamp beads more. Small lamp beads cost more, because in the process and raw materials are more stringent than the big pitch!
(2) At the same type of product, outdoor panel is more expensive than indoor panel, outdoor panel requires higher brightness, and both the cabinet and the module should be waterproof, which will cost more raw material costs.

How to choose LEDs for your rental screen?

There are many LEDs brands in the market, such as Nationstar, Kinglight, Hongsheng, Mulinsen ect.

Cree LEDs and Nichia LEDs

Cree LEDs brand is from USA and Nichia is from Japan, both of them are the top quality in the market. The stability, spectral colorability and display effect are the best in the whole market, but the price is more expensive than others, usually a single LED lamp for Cree and Nichia is 3 or 5 times higher price than Nationstar. Only a small percentage of customers with very strict quality control and a sufficient budget will choose these 2 LEDs.

NationStar

Nationstar LEDs brand is the top quality in Chinese led market. Founded in 1969, Nationstar is available in gold and copper wires and is chosen by over 95% of customers for outdoor screens due to its quality.

Kinglight

Kinglight is the second quality in Chinese led market. Founded in 2008, LED lamp beads is one of the most important factors affecting the service life of the screen, Nationstar lamp beads is certainly good, but when the budget is insufficient and we have to consider about quality, Kinglight is the preferred choice. Kinglight's quality can not be 100% and the same as Nationstar lamp beads, but it can be done 60-80% similar to them, and they have a perfect after-sales service system, even if there is a problem, they will provide support at the first time.

Truss

It is used for hanging installation, when the event location is relatively empty or the stage is high, we can choose Truss, but if it is a curved screen to use Truss, we need to customize the Truss according to the curvature of the screen , and it can not be folded and bent.

Floor Stacking Structure

Aluminum alloy material,screw lock & Clamp, easy installation with easy lock, flight case package with wheels, suitable for flat and curved screens. Floor stacking structure length has no restrictions, the height is generally not recommended more than 5 meters, more than 5 meters need to be customized and widened structure depth; when screen height higher than 2.5m, please take proper safety precautions and add weights behind structure to avoid the screen is too heavy and tilted forward.

Z Type Frame Structure

It is a simple structure and good for small screen, when budget is tight, can choose this option. Screen will be in direct contact with the ground, you can purchase additional floor beams or steel structure to make the screen not in direct contact with the ground.

Layer Truss

When we need a very big screen for a big rental event and need to layout the screen, let' s say the screen height is 7 meters up. We will choose Layer truss which is stable and can handle a lot of weight, but please note that the price is more expensive than truss, floor stacking structure and Z type fram structure.

How to choose control system for your rental screen?

The LED display control systems are categorized into synchronous control system and asynchronous control system.

In synchronous control system, the images are played and controlled on the screen synchronously with the video source (such as on PC or camera).

In asynchronous control system, they are played and controlled asynchronously.

Refresh rate refers to the frequency at which the image on the screen of monitor or we can say the number of times per second that monitor can refresh new images. High refresh rate led display image is more vivid and clear: Generally speaking, such as the screen to achieve a refresh rate of 1920Hz or more will be able to meet the daily playback needs. The higher the refresh rate, the smaller the flicker of the image on the LED display, the higher the stability, the better the protection of eyesight. The lower the refresh frequency, the image screen lag, delay is more obvious, the same viewing time, the refresh rate of the screen is easy to make eye fatigue.

The difference between refresh rate and frame rate

3840HZ Refresh Rate

3840HZ refresh rate means that the image is refreshed 3840 times in one second. 3840HZ is good for most of screens, indoor, outdoor, rental, ect. Less flickers and more vivid image.

Why do I need so many spare parts?

How to clean rental screen?

Timely clean dust on display with soft cloth dipping with alcohol or by vacuum cleaner. Do not wipe LED lamp directly by water.

How often do the screens need to be run?

In dry season (<60%RH), it is suggested that run LED display once a week at least, and running time is more than 2 hrs, also off time is more than 6 hrs per day.
In rainy season (>80%RH), it is suggested that run LED display once everyday, adjust display brightness to be 60%, and play video above 3hrs, the best running time is between 7am to 10am.
In normal season (60%-80%), it is suggested that run LED display once a week at least, adjust display brightness to be 60% for playing video around 5hrs, the best running time is between 7am to 10am and 6pm to 10pm.

What is the sequence of LED display on/off and PC on/off?

Run PC and control system firstly then turn on display. Turn off display before PC shut down. Do not turn on display when it is on white balance background situation to avoid high start current that can damage PCB, LED, and control cards.

What do I need to pay attention to the maintenance of LED display?

Regularly checking LED display inside components and circuits. Cut display power before maintenance. All maintenance and service jobs must be handled by professional engineers.
